What causes a starved spray pattern in Vaper Paint Sprayer?
    • N
      noblerichardSep 8, 2025
A starved spray pattern from your Vaper Paint Sprayer can be due to inadequate material flow, low atomization air pressure (suction feed), or too much atomization air pressure. Back the fluid adjusting screw out to the first thread or increase fluid pressure at the tank. Increase air pressure and rebalance the gun. Reduce pressure.

Why does my Vaper Paint Sprayer have a split spray pattern?
    • A
      Anthony HunterSep 10, 2025
A split spray pattern with your Vaper Paint Sprayer can be caused by atomization air pressure that is too high, fluid pressure that is too low (pressure feed only), or a spreader adjusting valve set too high. Reduce the air pressure at the regulator or gun. Increase fluid pressure (this increases gun handling speed). Adjust the spreader adjusting valve.

Why does my Vaper Paint Sprayer have a heavy top or bottom pattern?
    • J
      jonathancooperSep 12, 2025
A heavy top or bottom pattern from your Vaper Paint Sprayer can occur if the horn holes are plugged, there is an obstruction on the top or bottom of the fluid tip, or the cap and/or tip seat are dirty. Clean the horn holes and ream with a non-metallic point. Clean the obstruction. Clean the cap and/or tip seat.

    • G
      Gregory SheltonSep 13, 2025
A heavy right or left side pattern with your Vaper Paint Sprayer is often caused by plugged left or right side horn holes or dirt on the left or right side of the fluid tip. Clean the horn holes and ream with a non-metallic point. Clean the dirt from the fluid tip.

How to get round spray with Vaper Paint Sprayer?
    • C
      cherylreillySep 15, 2025
If you are unable to get a round spray from your Vaper Paint Sprayer, it could be that the spreader adjustment screw is not seating properly or the air cap retaining ring is loose. Try cleaning or replacing the spreader adjustment screw. Tighten the air cap retaining ring.

Why Vaper Paint Sprayer will not spray?
    • E
      Ethan WilsonSep 18, 2025
Your Vaper Paint Sprayer might not spray if there is no air pressure at the gun, an internal mix or pressure feed air cap and tip are used with suction feed, the fluid pressure is too low with an internal mix cap and pressure tank, the fluid needle adjusting screw is not open enough, or the fluid tool is heavy for suction feed. Check the air supply and air lines. Change to the proper suction feed air cap and tip. Increase the fluid pressure at the tank. Open the fluid needle adjusting screw. Thin the material or change to pressure feed.
