Why is my VARISCO J2 180 not delivering liquid?
    • R
      rileyadrienneAug 2, 2025
Your VARISCO Water Pump might not be delivering liquid because the system requires a higher head than the pump's rated head. Consider revising the system design or selecting a different pump. Also, excessive flow resistance along the suction line, obstructions or clogging in the suction/delivery pipes, or impeller clogged by foreign matter could be the reason. To resolve this, revise the distribution of elbows, valves, or constrictions, and increase the diameter of pipework if needed. Locate and clean any obstructed or clogged areas in the pipes. Disassemble the casing and remove any foreign matter clogging the impeller.

What to do if my VARISCO J2 180 is not priming?
    • R
      Rebecca BrownAug 6, 2025
If your VARISCO Water Pump isn't priming, it could be due to several reasons. The delivery pipe might be under pressure (bleed the delivery pipe), the impeller may be worn or broken (disassemble the pump casing and check the impeller), the suction strainer may be clogged (remove obstructions), the suction lift may be excessive (reduce suction lift), air may be entering through the seal (disassemble and clean the seal), or the impeller may be clogged by foreign matter (disassemble the casing and remove the foreign matter).

Why is my VARISCO Water Pump vibrating and noisy?
    • A
      Alexandra MasonAug 10, 2025
If your VARISCO Water Pump is vibrating and noisy, it could be due to several reasons: the pump might be operating with a flow rate that's too low (check the settings of the valves and the readings on the gauges), the pump or pipework might not be securely fixed (ensure the pipework is correctly fastened), the pump might be cavitating (reduce suction lift), or there might be foreign matter in the impeller (disassemble the pump casing and remove the foreign matter).

What to do if VARISCO Water Pump absorbs too much power?
    • J
      Joshua FoleyAug 15, 2025
If your VARISCO Water Pump absorbs too much power, it could be due to several reasons. The pump might be operating under conditions different from those specified (check operating conditions and compare them to the nameplate), the liquid's density might be higher than planned (measure and compare with the agreed value), the unit might be incorrectly aligned (check alignment), or there might be friction inside the pump (disassemble the casing and check for scratches).

Why VARISCO Water Pump does not deliver enough liquid?
    • M
      matthewevansAug 20, 2025
If your VARISCO Water Pump isn't delivering enough liquid, it might be caused by air leaks in the suction line (check joints and inspect the suction pipe), a worn impeller or wear plate (replace them by disassembling the pump), or a suction pipe that's too small (replace the suction pipe).

    patelstephanieAug 25, 2025
What causes VARISCO Water Pump to jam?
    • M
      Monica BradyAug 25, 2025
A VARISCO Water Pump may jam due to mechanical trouble (check shaft, couplings, motor, pulleys and belts, gearboxes) or foreign matter in the impeller (inspect impeller, disassembling the pump casing).

Why VARISCO J2 180 bearings do not last?
    • M
      Michael BrownAug 28, 2025
Bearings in a VARISCO Water Pump might not last due to a lack of lubrication (lubricate bearings), foreign matter in the bearings (replace bearings), or rust (replace bearings).
