Function Description:
The TK001 functions as a digital deadbolt, allowing users to lock and unlock a door using a keypad, a physical backup key, or an interior thumb turn. It supports multiple user codes, including a master code for programming and administrative functions, standard user codes for daily access, and a one-time user code for temporary access. The lock features an auto-lock function, which automatically secures the deadbolt after a set period, and a silent mode for discreet operation. A vacation mode enhances security by restricting all user codes until the master code is entered, and an alarm sounds if the lock is manually unlocked from the inside during this mode. The device also incorporates a low battery indicator and a wrong entry limit to prevent unauthorized access attempts.

- Master Code: 4 to 10 digits. Default is 12345678. Must be changed before programming.
- User Codes: Up to 20 user codes (4-10 digits) and 1 one-time user code can be stored.
- Auto Lock Time Delay: Customizable between 10 and 99 seconds (default is off).
- Wrong Entry Limit: Shuts down for 3 minutes after 10 unsuccessful PIN code attempts.
- Battery Type: 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Do not mix used and new batteries.

Usage Features:
- Unlocking from Outside: Enter the Master/User code on the keypad, then press the "Techo" button.
- Locking from Outside: In Auto Lock mode, the bolt extends automatically 30 seconds after unlocking. In Manual mode, press any key on the keypad for 2 seconds.
- Unlocking from Inside: Rotate the thumb turn to the Unlock position.
- Locking from Inside: In Auto Lock mode, the device locks automatically. In Manual mode, rotate the thumb turn to the Lock position.
- Fake Code Feature: Users can enter random digits before or after their PIN code to prevent code exposure to strangers.
- Key Unlock: Always available, even with dead batteries or forgotten user codes.
- Programming: All programming is done via the keypad using the master code. This includes changing the master code, adding/deleting user codes, enabling/disabling auto-lock, setting auto-lock duration, adding one-time codes, and enabling/disabling silent and vacation modes.
- Reset Function: A reset button on the interior assembly allows for factory default settings restoration, which deletes all user codes and reverts the master code to 12345678. This process also re-learns the door's orientation.
Maintenance Features:
- Battery Replacement: The lock provides a low battery indicator (10 beeps and 10 red light flashes) when batteries need replacement. Use 4 brand new AA alkaline batteries. Settings are retained during battery replacement.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides guidance for common issues such as the latch not extending or rotating, the lock only working with the backup key, and interpreting programming beeps.
- Resetting the Lock: To reset, keep the door open and unlocked. Press and hold the reset button while removing and reinserting one battery. Continue holding for 3 seconds until a "beep" is heard and the latch extends, indicating the lock has re-learned the door orientation.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning to protect the finish. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Security: Users are advised to protect their User Codes and Master Code, restrict access to the interior assembly, and routinely check the settings. The manual emphasizes not using an electric screwdriver during installation to prevent damage.
