Why is the air too dry when using my Venmar HRV1200i Fan?
    • P
      Pamela BondAug 9, 2025
If the inside air is too dry when using your Venmar Fan, this could be due to over ventilation because the speed setting is too high. Try adjusting the speed setting. Also, check the dehumidistat setting; if it's too low, set the dehumidistat control to a higher position (if applicable).

Persistent condensation on windows, walls, and ceilings when using your Venmar Fan may be due to several reasons: * Improper adjustment of the dehumidistat control. Try adjusting the dehumidistat control knob to a lower setting. * Improper ventilation rate. Consider installing a dehumidistat (option). * A window frame that is too cold or leaky. In this case, repair the window frame.

      Brian JacksonAug 25, 2025
If the air from the supply diffusers is too cold when using your Venmar Fan, it could be due to: * An imbalance of supply and exhaust air. Check the filters and heat exchangers for blockage and verify the balance of airflows. * Outdoor temperature being very cold. If this is the case, consider installing an electric duct heater.
