7. You will then see Waiting for Server on the PinPad
screen.
8. Open CRE/RPE and select Manager. Provide the
requested credentials and then follow these steps.
9. Select Setup and then select Setup Screen.
10. Select the Hardware tab and then select Page 1.
11. Select the Hardware tab and choose the correct
com port for the PinPad Port (e.g. COM1).
12. Select the correct pinpad that you are connecting
for the PinPad Type (e.g. VerifoneMX850).
13. Select Serial for the PinPad Connection.
14. Select Update and then re-enter the setup screen.
