Why is the battery indicator illuminated on my Vertiv UPS?

  The battery indicator illuminates when the Vertiv UPS is operating from battery mode. To resolve this, save your data and close applications. If the utility power is out of tolerance, ensure the utility supply voltage is within acceptable limits for the UPS. Keep the UPS plugged in continuously for at least 24 hours to recharge the batteries. Also, make sure the UPS is securely plugged into the wall receptacle. If the UPS input protection fuse has blown or opened, replace it and then restart the UPS.

Allow the UPS to cool down for 30 minutes, then restart it. If the UPS still won't restart, it requires service, and you should contact your local dealer, Emerson representative, or Emerson Channel Support.
