Why is the battery indicator illuminated on my Vertiv Liebert GXT3 UPS?

  The battery indicator illuminates when the Vertiv UPS is operating from battery mode. To resolve this, save your data and close applications. If the utility power is out of tolerance, ensure the utility supply voltage is within acceptable limits for the UPS. Keep the UPS plugged in continuously for at least 24 hours to recharge the batteries. Also, make sure the UPS is securely plugged into the wall receptacle. If the UPS input protection fuse has blown or opened, replace it and then restart the UPS.

  If the Vertiv UPS is overloaded or the load is faulty, check the load level indicator and remove non-essential loads. Recalculate the load and reduce the number of loads connected to the UPS. Inspect the load for any faults. Make sure the UPS is not overloaded, the ventilation holes are not blocked, and the room's ambient temperature isn't too high. Allow the UPS to cool down for 30 minutes, then restart it. If the UPS still won't restart, it requires service, and you should contact your local dealer, Emerson representative, or Emerson Channel Support.
