  The Vertiv UPS might have reduced battery backup time because the batteries are not fully charged. To resolve this, keep the UPS plugged in continuously for at least 24 hours to recharge the batteries. Alternatively, the UPS could be overloaded, so check the load level indicator and reduce the load. Lastly, the batteries may not be able to hold a full charge due to age, in which case you should replace them.
