LAYING UP
We recommend that the following operations
be carried out:
(I) -Clean down the vehicle.
(2) - With the engine stationary, piston
at the bottom dead centre position, remove
the spark plug. Next, introduce through
the plug hole 10 to 15 cc. of 30 SAE Oil.
After said operation depress the kickstarter
three or four times.
(3) - Drain off all fuel contained in the fuel
tank; then grease over all unpainted metallic
parts; next raise the wheels off the ground
byplacingwooden chocks under the footboard.
CLEANING THE MACHINE
For cleaning the exposed surface of the
engine use paraffin, a brush and clean rags.
The painted surfaces of the machine should
be sponged down with water and dried off
with a chamois leather. Do not use paraffin
for washing down painted surfaces.
