Overview

This document describes the VEVOR Alternating Pressure Mattress, model HF809, designed for bed sore and wound care therapy treatment and prevention in extended hospital stays and nursing home/long-term care environments.

Function Description:

The VEVOR Alternating Pressure Mattress is an auto-pressure control medical air mattress system. It is designed to provide therapeutic support by continuously changing pressure points, which helps prevent and treat bedsores. The system includes a mattress with multiple air cells and a control unit (pump) that inflates and deflates these cells in an alternating pattern. The control unit features various modes and indicators to manage the mattress's operation, ensuring optimal patient comfort and care. The "Sitting Mode" provides extra support when the patient is in a seated position, while the "Static Mode" inflates both zones together, offering a consistent inflation without alternation, with an auto-back to alternating use after 30 minutes for nursing treatment. The system also includes safety features such as a low-pressure alarm and a power failure alarm.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Max. User Weight: 450 lbs
  • Cycle Time: 12 Mins
  • Air Output: 6-8 L/Min.
  • Electrical Power Supply: AC120V 60Hz
  • Power: Max.:7W
  • Pressure Adjustment Range (Auto-Weight Control): 30-180 kgs (quick adjustment by 10kg increments)

Usage Features:

The control unit features a user-friendly interface with several indicators and buttons:

  • Power Switch: Illuminates when the power is on.
  • Low Pressure Indicator/Alarm: Illuminates and sounds an alarm if the pressure falls below the preset level. The alarm can be reset.
  • Normal Pressure Indicator: Indicates normal operating pressure.
  • Auto-Weight Control: Allows for pressure adjustment based on patient weight, with a display range of 30-180 kgs. Holding the button enables quick adjustment in 10kg increments.
  • Sitting Mode: Provides extra support when the patient is in a seated position, indicated by an "L" on the LED display.
  • Static Mode: Inflates both zones simultaneously, indicated by "——" on the LED display. It maintains constant inflation and automatically returns to alternating mode after 30 minutes.
  • Power Failure Alarm: Sounds if power is lost. Pressing the "Alarm" button resets it and mutes the audible alarm when the LED turns off.
  • Lock Function: Automatically locks all functions after two minutes. To disable, press and hold the button for three seconds.
