  • Data Modification: Active a digit with "<>" keys, then use "+" or "-" to increase/decrease the value. Output varies continuously during modification.

Frequency Setting:

  • Press "F" to activate frequency setting. Input the desired frequency value and unit. The output signal frequency synchronizes with the display.

Amplitude and DC Offset Setting:

  • Press "V" to activate amplitude setting. Input the desired peak-peak voltage. For 50Ω load, the actual output is half the displayed value.
  • To set DC offset, press "V" then "+" or "-" to input the polarity and value of the DC voltage. Default DC drift is 0V after power-on or reset.

Mode Setting:

  • The "MOD" selector cycles through modes: COMMON, INNER-MODULATION, OUTER-MODULATION, LINEARITY FREQUENCY SWEEP, LOGARITHM FREQUENCY SWEEP.

Maintenance Features

Start-up Procedure:

  • Verify power voltage/frequency match, set 220V/110V switch, plug in, power on. "2003" model displays, then enters operating mode after 2 seconds. Preheating for 30 minutes is recommended.

Troubleshooting:

  • In case of abnormal display or breakdown, press reset key or power off/on to resolve.

DC Component Management:

  • If a lower DC is present in the load circuit or a DC component is unnecessary, connect a capacitor with appropriate capacitance and withstand voltage to block DC.

Load Considerations:

  • Avoid connecting an oversized load to the TTL level output to prevent waveform distortion and long rising times.

Environmental Precautions:

  • Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, strong radiance, or electromagnetic interference. Avoid violent shocks.
