Cause Measure
If the ventilation unit is isolated from the power supply,
the time must be reset.
Change the batteries in the programming unit.
If the fault recurs, replace the programming unit.
E1 Internal memory
Cause Measure
Internal programming unit fault Restart the programming unit.
If the fault recurs, replace the programming unit.
FF Communicatn disrupted

Ventilation unit continues to run with the last values
specified.
or
■
"Background vent." is switched on.
Cause Measure
No communication with ventilation unit e.g. if wrong
type is set at "Enable Vitovent 7D00".
■
Check the ventilation unit and connecting cable. Re-
place ventilation unit control PCB if necessary.
■
Check parameter setting "Enable Vitovent 7D00".
Correct setting if required.
■
Replace the programming unit.
Faults without messages
Nothing shown on the display
The ventilation unit will not start.
Cause Measure
■
No power supply to ventilation unit
■
Appliance fuse for the ventilation unit is faulty
■
Connecting cable to ventilation unit is faulty
■
Ventilation programming unit is faulty
■
Control PCB for ventilation unit is faulty
■
Vitovent 200-C: Jumper installed on control PCB
■
Check the power supply to the ventilation unit.
■
Replace fuse if required.
■
Check the connecting cable to the ventilation unit.
■
Replace ventilation programming unit if required.
■
Replace ventilation unit control PCB.
■
Vitovent 200-C: Remove jumper: See Fig. 2 on
page 10.
Progress bar does not respond
Vitovent 200-C does not start.
Cause Measure
■
Incorrect ventilation unit selected
■
The green and yellow cores of the connecting cable
to the ventilation unit are interchanged.
■
Set parameter "Enable Vitovent 7D00" to "2". To do
so, press and for approx. 4 s during commission-
ing.
■
Connect the cores of the connecting cable correctly:
See Fig. 3 on page 9.
