Ref Component Description
IR Port Beams files to or from other mobile devices using infrared
(IR).
SD/SDIO Card Slot Accepts an optional Secure Digital card for extended
memory capacity or a ViewSonic 802.11 SDIO Card (or
other SDIO Now! compatible 802.11b card) that provides
connectivity to Wirless Local Area Networks.
Stylus Slot Stores the stylus when it is not in use.
Ref Component Description
Cradle Connector Connects the V36 to the USB synchronization cable (or to
the USB cradle --sold separately) to synchronize the V36
with your PC.
Charges the battery inside the V36 when the DC connector
of the AC adapter is attached to the cradle’s USB connector
(see the illustration on the next page).
Power Connector Connects the V36 to the AC adapter when not using the
USB cradle.
