Function Description

The Viking 5 Series Nugget Ice Machine is designed to produce nugget ice and store it in an integrated bin. It can be installed as an undercounter unit or as a freestanding appliance. Pump Model (FPN1515): 3/8" (.95 cm) I.D. flexible tubing (included). The drain pump can lift water up to 10 feet (3.05 m) high and includes a check valve. An air gap is often required by local codes.
Gravity Model (FGN1515): 5/8" (1.6 cm) I.D. flexible tubing (not included). Gravity drain tubing must be vented, have no kinks, and slope to the building drain. Air gaps are typically required.

Usage Features

Door Stop: A door stop pin can be inserted into the top and bottom hinges to prevent the door from opening too far and damaging adjacent cabinets.
Kickplate: The unit comes with a black kickplate with a stainless steel covering. The stainless steel covering can be removed to reveal the black kickplate underneath, using supplied black screws. The stainless steel covering should NOT be removed if the ice machine is used outdoors.
Leveling Legs: Adjustable leveling legs allow for precise leveling of the unit, crucial for proper operation and drainage. Black caps are provided to snap over the bottom of the leveling legs after adjustment.
