n Diagnostics: A diagnostics address for the MPI interface is to be
preset here. In the case of an error the CPU is informed via this
address.
n Operating mode, Configuration, Clock: These parameters are not
supported.
5.9 Setting VIPA specific CPU parameters
5.9.1
Proceeding
Except of the VIPA specific CPU parameters the CPU parametriza-
tion takes place in the parameter dialog of the CPU from Siemens.
With installing of the SPEEDBUS.GSD the VIPA specific parameters
may be set during hardware configuration. Here the following param-
eters may be accessed:
n Function RS485 X3 (PtP, Synchronization between DP master
and CPU)
n Token Watch
n Number remanence flag, timer, counter
n Priority OB 28, OB 29, OB 33, OB 34
n Execution OB 33, OB 34
n Phase offset OB 33, OB 34
Since the VIPA specific CPU parameters may be set, the installation
of the SPEEDBUS.GSD from VIPA in the hardware catalog is neces-
sary. The CPU may be configured in a PROFIBUS master system
and the appropriate parameters may be set after installation.
