12. Making basic settings
You must make the following basic settings before using the device for the
first time or after changing the batteries:
• Year
• Date (month, day)
• Time (hour, minute).
• Blood pressure unit (mmHg/kPa)
• Language (English, German, Turkish, French)
• Volume (level 0–7)
Proceed as follows:
 Press the
button.
The digits indicating the year will flash.
 Use the and M buttons to set the current year.
 Confirm the entry by pressing the button.
The digits indicating the month will flash.
 Use the and M buttons to set the current month.
