Overvoltage
To avoid the risk of injury caused by mains-related
overvoltage:
ƒ Keep the power supply switched o during installation and
maintenance work.
ƒ Switch o the power supply if the unit begins to emit smoke, odours or
unusual noises.
ƒ Switch o the power supply in case of storms and before leaving the
unit unattended for extended periods.
ƒDo not pour any liquid/splash water into or onto the plug connections.
ƒDo not operate the unit if the power cable is damaged. Ensure
damaged power cables are replaced by Vitra Service or by a qualified
electrician.
ƒObserve Vitra general electrification notice. 710 254 24.
DANGER!!
Procedure in the event of malfunction
CAUTION!!
In case of malfunctions, e.g. emission of smoke or
odours, unusual noises, other faults or operational failures, switch o the
power supply immediately and contact your Vitra retail partner.
To avoid the risk of injury caused by overheating:
ƒafter the table has been switched on for a maximum of 2 minutes, do not
activate it again for at least 18 minutes.
ƒImmediately give the table a break of at least 18 minutes when there is a
reduction in speed, as this indicates that the table is beginning to overheat.

Overloading
The table columns will
work best when the load on the table is
distributed evenly:
ƒ max. 2 x 25 kg at the edges
ƒ max. 50 kg total area evenly distributed on
the tabletop
ATTENTION!!
The noise emission during use is
max. 50 dB(A).
