First,
insert
the batteries
l-Remove
the Battery
Compartment Cover
@
by applying upprd
pressure
to the center of
the
Calculator
Dial
@
and
sliding the cover away
from the
body of
the
unit.
2-lnsert
four
1.5v AA Alkaline
batteries in the
compartment
noting
correct
polarity.
Correct
battery
positioning
is indicated in the
battery
com
partment.
Caution:
Beware of bargains! Best
results and
performance
to specifications
are
based on the
use
of
1.5v
AA
Alkaline
cells.
3-To
replace the
cover, slide the lip
of the
Battery
Compartment Cover into the
back of the
unit and
press
down
on
the
Calculator Dial
until the
cover
snaps securely in
place.
Nofe:
The batteries
should be replaced
when the
recycle time
exceeds thirty
seconds or when
no
sound
can
be
heard
when the unit is turned
on.
Form the capacitor
When the flash is new
or
when
it
has
not
been
used
for
a
long
period
of time,
the capacitor may
lose some 0f its
ability to store electricity.
To
re-build
or
"reform"
the
capacitor, insert the
batteries in the flash
and slide the
On-Off Switch
@
to the RED
(On) position.
Fire the
flash
by
_
pressing
the Ready Light/Open
Flash Button
@.
Repeat
this about
5
times
allowing the
Ready Light
to
glow
5
to 10
seconds
after each
flash.
Atiach
your
flash to
the camera
1-lnsert
the Mounting
Shoe
@
into the accessory
clip on the camera.
2-lt
your
camera
is equipped with
a
Hot
Shoe, it
is not
necessary to use the
detachable PC
Cord.
Once attached to the
camera, the flash
is
fully
synchronized
to
the
camera through
the contacts
in the shoe.
