3. Launch the Capture Cam2 app on your
phone. Your phone may reconnect
automatically. If it did not, you will need to
tap on the menu button by your camera
name in the main screen and then tap on
“re-connect” (you may need to tap
“re-connect” a couple of times but
eventually) your phone will connect to your
camera with a different Wi-Fi network.
Note: App can perform slower while the phone
and the camera are connected to different
Wi-Fi networks.
Connection Failed:
You have switched the Wi-Fi connection on
your camera.
1. Exit the Capture Cam2 app on your phone.
2. Go to Wi-Fi settings on your phone and
select the Wi-Fi network you wish to
connect to.
3. Use the RESET tool to push and hold the
'Reset' button found on the back of the
camera for 10 seconds.
4. Wait 1 minute until the blue light is blinking
rapidly above the camera lens.
5. Open the app and select “Add Camera” and
then tap on “New camera setup”
6. Enter the correct Wi-Fi credentials and tap
the “Done button.
Your camera should now be connected.
Note:
If you saved the camera you were previously
connected to in the main screen it will
automatically connect to that camera.
If you have manually removed the old camera
from the app then you will be prompted to enter
the desired camera name and location and only
then it will connect.
Snapshot taken during video recording on an
iPhone 6 is not saved to iPhone.
Create an album manually on your iPhone
named Capture Cam2. The snapshots will be
saved to that album.
