STORAGE PROCEDURE
If you plan to not use your Viza™ scooter for more than
a month, it is advisable that you perform the following
procedures:
• Empty the fuel tank and start engine to completely
remove all gasoline.
• Remove spark plug and inject a small amount of
engine oil (4-5 drops) through spark plug hole and
pull starting handle 2-3 times. Reassemble the spark
plug and slowly pull starting handle and stop at a
position where it takes the most force to pull the
handle.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Generally it is much harder to start the engine in a colder
climate, or if your Viza™ scooter has not been used for a
long period of time. Check the following:
ENGINE WILL NOT START
• Check the spark plug and wiring for connection.
• Check fuel mix ratio, or for clogged gas filter.
• If you attempt to start the engine too many times, there
might be excess fuel in the cylinder. Remove spark plug
and allow excess fuel to evaporate. Reassemble.
• Check spark plug gap and presence of carbon buildup.
• Check spark by removing from engine, connecting wire to
plug, then set plug on top of engine with plug threads
touching head of engine for grounding. Then, pull starter
cord and look at plug to see of spark is produced. If no
spark is seen, you may have an electrical problem with
your motor. Consult a Viza™ service technician.
