charger.
• Iftheproductisnottobeusedforawhile(e.g.storage),removethebatteries/rechargeable
batteries.Oldbatteries/rechargeablebatteriescanleakandcausedamagesontheproduct;

Itispossibletooperatethekitchenthermometerwithrechargeablebatteries.However,
theoperatingtimeandthedisplaycontrastaregreatlyreducedduetothelowervoltage
(battery=1.5V,rechargeablebattery=1.2V).
 Therefore,insteadofusingrechargeablebatteries,werecommendoperatingthe
productwithhigh-qualityalkalinebatteriestoensurelongandreliableoperation.


• Openthebatterycompartmentonthebottomofthedevice,byunscrewingthefastening
screw(9)onthebatterycompartmentcover(8)andthenremovingthecover.
• InserttwoAAA/Microbatteriesintothebatterycompartmentpayingattentiontothecorrect
polarity(observepositive/+andnegative/-).
• Putbackthebatterycoverandtightenitagain.
• Thebatterymustbereplacedifthedisplaycontrastfadesorthedevicecannotbeswitched
onanylonger.Weakbatteriesisalsoindicatedbyabatterysymbol“
”(G)onthe
display.
