Lubricating system
Oil change intervals can vary from 30 to 500 hours depending on engine type, grade of lubricant and the sulphur
content in the fuel.
IMPORTANT! Oil change intervals must never exceed 12 months.
If you would like longer oil change intervals than those specified in the table below, samples of the lubricant must
be sent regularly to the oil manufacturer for checking.
Viscosity
Select the viscosity from the table below for constant
exterior temperatures.
* Refers to synthetic or semi-synthetic oil.

NOTE! Mineral based synthetic or semi-synthetic oil can be used on condition that it meets the oil grades above.

If the sulphur content in the fuel exceeds 1.0 wt.%, an oil with TBN >15 must be used (TBN = Total Base Number).

The oil must be changed at least once a year.
