late

Early typa valves and

llets have one 10cking groove
whereas late types have three.
On
ly
late types are available
as
spare parts.
Consequently when installing a
new
valve, the collet
and upper spring seat
must
also be replaced
with
new
parts.
New
spring seats are
either
copper coated
or
chromed. Early types are
bright
or
black.
Install:
- upper spring seats, fia ng ed side up.
Install valve stem
