Manual Hood Opening
In the event of a malfunction in the hood
opening mechanism, the hood latches can
be manually operated through an opening
in the wheelwell splash shield. The opening
is normally covered by a plate.
To access the opening, remove the two
screws using a T30 Torx screwdriver. Re-
move the cover plate.

The hood latch can now be accessed
through the hole. Operate the latch manu-
ally by pushing the lever in towards the
engine. Do the same on the other side.
