1. If connecting headphones or powered monitors, select “LINE” with the LINE/AMP switch on the rear panel.
Select “AMP” if connecting to a guitar amplifier.
2. After making audio and AC connections, connect your guitar to the INPUT jack on the front panel. If using
headphones, connect to the headphone jack on the front panel. On the rear panel, lower the MASTER level
and turn on the power by pressing the power switch. Raise the levels to adjust the volume.
3. Tune up! Press the TUNER button and the auto chromatic tuner will be active - play a note and watch the
meter to tune your guitar. To Exit, press the TUNER button again and you’ll return to the previous mode.

1. Simultaneously hold down the UP/DOWN BANK buttons and the TUNER/CANCEL button. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the power. The display will blink and indicate “RELOAD” - release the three buttons you
were holding.

Restoring Factory Preset Programs

Initiating Factory Program Reload

Program Overwrite Warning

Operation overwrites all factory and user programs; press TUNER/CANCEL to abort.

Completing Factory Data Restore

Press WRITE/ENTER to begin 'LOADING'; 'COMPLETE' indicates restoration is finished.

Selecting and Listening to Programs

Navigating Banks and Channels

Use BANK UP/DOWN and Channel 1-4 buttons to select programs.

Tweak Sounds with Knobs

Use amp/effects knobs and selectors to adjust sounds after finding a desired program.

Turning Effects On/Off

Press TYPE button to turn effects on (LED lit) or off (no LED).

Setting Delay Time with TAP

Tap the TAP button at the desired tempo to set delay time; button blinks at the interval.

Bypassing Modulation Effects

Hold the TAP button for 2 seconds to bypass Modulation/Delay/Reverb effects.

Saving and Renaming Programs

Saving a Modified Program

Press WRITE, select location with BANK/CHANNEL buttons, press WRITE again.

Renaming a Program

Use UTILITY, 1/PREV/NEXT, cursor buttons, and VALUE knobs to edit and store names.
