4. Loosen the six screws on the Kidizoom
®
Action Cam 180 using a
Phillips head screwdriver, then remove the cover.
5. The whole Kidizoom
®
Action Cam 180 can then be disassembled.
Pull out the circuit board and turn it around to reveal the battery on the
back.
6. The battery is a silver colored pack with two wires (positive red wire
and negative black wire) connected to the circuit board.
7. Pull out the battery pack until both the positive and negative wires are
detached.
8. Separately cover each wire with electrical tape and handle the battery
with care.
Note:
• Do not pierce the battery pack with any sharp objects.
• Do not allow any wires left attached to the battery to touch each other.
• Do not touch ends of wires attached to the battery with any other
electrical conductors.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
• Do not handle a damaged Li-ion polymer battery.
• Do not cut the wires simultaneously with scissors, pointed objects or
any other electrical conductors.
