California Energy Commission battery charging testing instructions
This telephone is set up to comply with the energy-conserving standards right out of the box. These
instructions are intended for California Energy Commission (CEC) compliance testing only.
When the CEC battery charging testing mode is activated, all functions, except parent unit battery
charging, will be disabled.
To activate the CEC battery charging testing mode:
Unplug the parent unit and baby unit power adapters from the power outlets. Make sure
the parent unit is plugged with charged battery before proceeding.
Follow the instructions on page 28 to unpair all baby units.
Remove the battery from the parent unit and then install it back in again. Then plug the
parent unit power adapter back to the power outlet.
When the parent unit successfully enters the CEC battery charing testing mode, the screen
displays No CAM paired.
When the parent unit fails to enter this mode, repeat Step 1 through Step 3 above.
To activate the CEC battery charging testing mode:
Follow the instructions on page 27 to pair the baby units back to the parent unit.
