please monitor the temperature of the box. In the special case of heating a liquid, observe the pre-
cautions for use concerning immersion of the heating element.
Ensure the immersion heater is properly tightened according to the material of the sealing
gasket supplied, and that of the plug and the attachment interface:
Where distance A is greater than 1,000 mm: fitting and removal will need to be facilitated by instal-
lation of a guide or support cradle designed to avoid damage to the shielding. This support will also
compensate for the 'overhang' of the heating elements.
If the metal vessel is lagged, leave some of the area situated between the immersion heater's fix-
ing mechanism (flange, screwed or crimped connection) and its connection box open to the air.
If heating fluid circulating inside a closed circuit, install the safety devices provided for by law,
which are designed to prevent instances of overpressure if overheating occurs (e.g. safety valve,
degasser, expansion tank).
Check the sealing gasket is in the correct position when tightening.
Assemble so that the glands can be placed in the lower section.
If installation is outdoors, it is recommended that a shelter is fitted over the connection box in order
to minimise any damage from adverse weather.
