Troubleshooting
Error Description Solutions
E-24 The centrifuge cannot
be operated.
Wrong status information from the lid latch.
• Switch the instrument o and on again.
• After re-switching on, the display shows Lid FAiL.
• If the centrifuge lid has been already opened, the display
shows CLOSE Lid. Close the lid.
• The centrifuge tries to open the lid to switch for starting the
normal operation mode.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.
E-29 Motor does not start Motor or rotor blocked
• Switch instrument o and on again using the mains switch.
• Open the centrifuge lid.
• Check whether the rotor can turn freely.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.
E-31 Rotor stops without
deceleration to standstill
or does not start.
Overtemperature in the motor
• Turn instrument o and unplug mains power cord.
• Check and clean the venting slots if necessary and
respectively the filter unit of the cooled centrifuge.
• After approx. 60 minutes you can restart the instrument.
Observe the maximum permissible environmental temperature.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.
E-33 Rotor stops with
deceleration to standstill.
Overpressure in the refrigeration system
• Turn instrument o and unplug mains power cord.
• Check and clean the venting slots if necessary and
respectively the filter unit of the cooled centrifuge.
• After approx. 60 minutes you can restart the instrument.
Observe the maximum permissible environmental temperature.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.
E-36 Rotor stops with
deceleration to standstill.
The centrifuge cannot

Overcurrent or error in current measurement
Switch the instrument o and on again.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.

Internal program error
Switch the instrument o and on again.
If the error message still shows, contact a service technician.
