Decorative overlocking
Overlock the edges of the fabric as a
decorative exposed edge for medium to
strong fabrics.
There are no limits to your creativity.
You can use either the 4-thread seam and
the 3-
thread seam. For decorative effects,
use bulk thread or buttonhole thread weight
30/3 in a contrast colour for the upper looper.

Gathered seams can be used to decorate
and incorporate fullness with lightweight
fabrics and knitwear. The exact settings
depend on the thickness and stretchability of
the material used. The stitch length also
affects the effect. I
thread tensions enhances
effect. Test the best settings with a piece of
the fabric to be worked with.
