4.4 To Start

4.4.1 Turn the fuel cock to the “ON” (OPEN) postion (a1).
Note: If engine is cold, move choke lever to close position (b1). If
engine is hot, set choke to open position (b2).
4.4.2 Move the governor lever to left a little (c1).
4.4.3 Turn the engine switch to “ON” postion. (d1)
4.4.4 Pull starter rope (e).
Note: Don’t allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
4.4.5 Preheat the engine and push back the choke lever to the “OPEN”
postion (f1).
4.4.6 Move the throttle lever to proper postion to make the gasoline engine
run at required velocity. (g1)
4.5 To Stop

4.5.1 Push right the throttle lever to low speed position (c2).
4.5.2 Push the engine switch to the “OFF” position (d2).
4.5.3 Set the fuel cock to “OFF” position (a2).
