Why does my Wacker Neuson Construction Equipment engine start, then stop?

If your Wacker Neuson Construction Equipment engine starts but then stops, it could be due to several reasons. The fuel tank might be empty, requiring you to fill it with No. 2 diesel fuel and prime the fuel lines. A restricted or clogged fuel filter could also be the cause, necessitating its replacement. Check for broken or loose fuel lines, and tighten, repair, or replace them as needed. Ensure the machine is within the infra-red range by moving the transmitter closer. Also, the transmitter might have automatically powered off due to inactivity, so turn it back on.

How to fix no steering on Wacker Neuson RTx-SC3?
R
rachelphillipsAug 18, 2025
If your Wacker Neuson Construction Equipment has no steering, the cause might be a faulty left/right joystick switch or poor connection inside the transmitter, which requires checking the connection and repairing or replacing it as needed. An inoperative solenoid on the steering valve or a damaged steering cylinder could also be the issue, both necessitating repair or replacement. Check for loose, broken, or corroded wire connections inside the control panel or transmitter, and repair or replace them. Ensure the locking bar is disengaged. Finally, make sure the machine is within the infra-red signal range by moving the transmitter closer, and that the operator is not too close to the machine. For communication faults, see the topic Communication Faults.

David MillerAug 27, 2025
If your Wacker Neuson Construction Equipment has no high-speed travel, it could be due to a faulty forward/reverse switch or a poor connection inside the transmitter, which requires checking the connection and repairing or replacing it as needed. An inoperative solenoid on the manifold or a damaged exciter pump could also be the cause, both necessitating repair or replacement. Check for loose, broken, or corroded wire connections inside the control panel or transmitter, and repair or replace them. Ensure that the vibration is turned off. Make sure the machine is within the infra-red signal range by moving the transmitter closer, and that the operator is not too close to the machine. For communication faults, see topic Communication Faults.
