Description Explanation
1 "Charging status“
charging display
Displays the charging status of the battery.
z Flashing: the battery is being charged.
z Constant glow: the battery has been fully
charged.
2 "Check Battery"
indicator lamp
Indicates that the battery is faulty.
3 "Reverse polarity"
indicator lamp
Indicates that the polarity of the connections is
incorrect.
4 "Charge Rate"
indicator lamps
Displays the selected charging current for the
battery.
5 "Charge Rate"
button
Sets the charging current for the battery.
6 "Battery
Recondition" button
Reconditions a battery that cannot be recharged.
7 "Battery
Recondition“
indicator lamp
Indicates that the battery is being reconditioned.
z Flashing: the battery is being reconditioned.
z Constant glow: reconditioning has been ended.
8 "Display" button Switches the display between showing the
charging voltage and charging current.
If the compact charger is not connected to an AC
power supply, the battery charge is also displayed.
9 "Volts", "Amps" and
"Battery %" indicator
lamps
Display the units for the value shown in the display:
– Volts: charging voltage
– Amps: charging current
– Battery %: battery charge
10 On/Off switch Switches the compact charger on or off.
