4). Requirements for grounding
• To ensure personal safety, proper operation, and to reduce electromagnetic
interference (EMI), the power supply must
be properly grounded.
• The power supply must be grounded through the power cord according to
national and local electrical codes.
• Three-phase service must be of the 4-wire type with a green or green/yellow
wire for protective earth ground
and must comply with national and local requirements.
