Why is my WaterLogic Water Dispenser not heating or chilling water?
    • S
      stephen22Aug 20, 2025
If your WaterLogic Water Dispenser is not heating or chilling water, the most likely cause is that the Red Heater and Compressor Switch on the unit is turned off. To resolve this, simply turn the Red Heater and Compressor Switch on to the 'I = ON' position.

Why is cold water not cold in my WaterLogic WL250?
    • C
      Carlos JenkinsAug 22, 2025
If the cold water from your WaterLogic Water Dispenser isn't cold enough, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the Red Heater and Compressor switch is on. If the tank has run out of cold water, allow time for it to chill; the capacity is 4 liters for Tower models and 2 liters for Counter Top models. Check the continuity of the cold water thermostat with a multimeter and replace if needed. If the refrigerant has run out, run the compressor for at least ten minutes; if the condenser isn't warm, refill the refrigerant. Finally, a compressor problem may require repair or replacement.

Why is my WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser compressor running but not chilling?
    • L
      lauren32Aug 25, 2025
If the compressor in your WaterLogic Water Dispenser is running but not chilling, there are a few potential causes. The condenser might be dirty, so clean the condensing coil of any obstructions or dust. Also, ensure the unit meets minimum ventilation requirements (2 to 4 inches) to prevent reduced airflow. If the compressor is running very hot, it may indicate low or lost refrigerant, requiring a refrigerant recharge.

Why is no cold or hot water dispensing from my WaterLogic Water Dispenser?
    • W
      webbdanielleAug 26, 2025
If no cold or hot water is dispensing from your WaterLogic Water Dispenser, the issue might stem from several causes. First, check if the water supply valve is closed and open it. Ensure the unit is properly plugged into the electrical outlet and that the circuit breaker hasn't blown. Verify that the Red Heater and Compressor button on the unit is in the on position (I = ON). Also, inspect the 15 Amp Fuse and replace it if blown. For Counter Top models, water in the bottom tray can trigger leak detection; drain and dry the tray. Loose hot and cold solenoid connections into the Display PCB can also be a factor, so inspect and secure them. Finally, an exhausted filter can restrict water flow, so replace the filters as needed.

What to do if my WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser has restricted flow of hot water?
    • T
      Thomas RobertsonAug 28, 2025
If you're experiencing a restricted flow of hot water from your WaterLogic Water Dispenser, several factors could be responsible. Start by ensuring the water supply valve to the unit is fully open. Check for a scaled-over hot tank outlet hole and apply descaler if needed. Inspect the tubing for any creases or kinks, replacing it if necessary. Clear any obstructions from the faucet nipple screen mesh. Consider replacing an exhausted filter. Also, inspect the solenoid connections to the Display PCB for secure soldering points. Finally, examine the solenoid valve for proper function and replace if malfunctioning.

What causes irregular dispensing in WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser?
    • M
      Michael KingAug 30, 2025
Irregular or intermittent dispensing from your WaterLogic Water Dispenser can be due to a couple of reasons. One potential cause is excessive water pressure. Check the water pressure at the inlet bulkhead using a water pressure gauge and adjust it to be within 40-60 psi. Another possible cause is a broken dispensing button on the PCB. Inspect the PCB for any loose or damaged buttons and replace the PCB if necessary.

Why is my WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser compressor not running?
    • G
      Gail PrestonSep 1, 2025
If the compressor on your WaterLogic Water Dispenser is not running, first ensure that the Red Heater and Compressor Power Switch button on the unit is in the 'on' position. If it is, and the compressor still isn't running, the issue may be with the compressor starting circuit. Turn the Red Heater and Compressor Power Switch off (O = OFF). Remove the compressor cap on the side of the compressor and disconnect the black and red terminal connectors. Inspect the starter and overload relay for any defects, replacing components as needed. Then, turn the Red Heater and Compressor Power Switch on (I = O) and retest compressor operation.

Why is my WaterLogic Water Dispenser dispensing hot and cold water at the same time?
    • L
      Laura TurnerSep 3, 2025
If your WaterLogic Water Dispenser is dispensing hot and cold water simultaneously, it's likely that either the hot or cold solenoid is stuck open. To diagnose, remove the top cover. Check the hot solenoid by dispensing cold water and visually inspecting the tubing for water flow from both tanks. Check the cold solenoid by disconnecting the elbow from the outlet of the cold solenoid, selecting hot water, and dispensing briefly to observe any water coming out of the cold solenoid. Replace the solenoid as necessary.

What to do if no water is dispensing from one side of WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser?
    • R
      Ryan BryanSep 4, 2025
If no water is dispensing from one side (either hot or cold) of your WaterLogic Water Dispenser, there are a few potential causes. Too much water pressure could be the issue; check the water pressure at the inlet bulkhead with a water pressure gauge and adjust to 40-60 psi. A problem with the PCB could also be responsible; try switching the hot and cold wires on the PCB (red and blue connections). If water now dispenses from the opposite side, replace the PCB. If water pressure and the PCB have been ruled out, the solenoid may be the issue, and you should replace it.

How to fix hot water not hot enough in WaterLogic WL250 Water Dispenser?
    • A
      Allison GarciaSep 6, 2025
If the hot water from your WaterLogic Water Dispenser is not hot enough (185° +/- 5° F), there are several possible reasons. First, check that the Red Heater and Compressor switch is on. Inspect the wire leads going to the hot tank for any loose or improperly connected wires. If the overload has tripped, pushing it will reset it automatically. Use a multimeter to check the resistance across the terminals on each thermostat and overload separately, replacing components as necessary if they indicate an open circuit. Finally, test the heating coil for approximately 26 OHM’s resistance with a multi-meter after turning the power off and draining the hot tank; replace the hot tank if needed.
