Wrap the new V-belt around the open adjustable pulley and slip it over the spring-loaded pulley. 4. Replace the cover with the speed control mechanism and re-assemble. 5. When positioning the speed limiting lock nut (adjustable pulley closed), leave a 0.5-1.0mm gap on the adjustable pulley to avoid damage to the pulley and motor bearings. The V-belt should not touch the bottom of the adjustable pulley.
