Why is there a small amount of water in Watts Premier RO-PURE Water Filtration Systems storage tank?
- MMichelle SimpsonSep 12, 2025
If you observe only a small amount of water in the storage tank of your Watts Premier Water Filtration System, several factors could be responsible. Initially, it typically takes 6-10 hours to fill the tank. Keep in mind that low incoming water pressure or temperature can significantly reduce the production rate. Another potential cause is too much air in the tank. When the tank is empty of water, the air pressure should be at 5 psi. If it's below 5 psi, add air; if it's above, bleed air until it reaches the correct pressure. Ensure you check the pressure only when the tank is empty.
