Why is my Watts Water Filtration System producing water slowly?
    • N
      nmcbrideAug 5, 2025
Slow water production in your Watts Water Filtration System can be due to several reasons: low water pressure, crimped tubing, clogged pre-filters, or a fouled membrane. To address this, you can add a booster pump to increase water pressure, ensure the tubing is straight without any crimps, replace the pre-filters, or replace the membrane.

What to do if my Watts Water Filtration System water tastes or smells bad?
    • L
      lloydchristopherAug 9, 2025
If the water from your Watts Water Filtration System has an offensive taste or smell, it could be due to a depleted post carbon filter, a fouled membrane, or residual sanitizer that wasn't fully flushed out. You can try replacing the post carbon filter or the membrane. Also, drain the storage tank and refill it overnight.

Why is there only a small amount of water from my Watts Water Filtration System storage tank?
    • M
      mstewartAug 13, 2025
If your Watts Water Filtration System is producing only a small amount of water, it could be because the system is just starting up or the air pressure in the storage tank is low. It normally takes 2-3 hours to fill the tank. Low water pressure and/or temperatures can reduce production rate. Try adding pressure to the storage tank; the pressure should be 8-10 psi when the tank is empty.

What to do if my Watts Water Filtration Systems has leaks?
    • T
      Teresa McintyreAug 18, 2025
Leaks in your Watts Water Filtration System can occur if fittings are not tightened, if an O-ring is twisted, or if there's misalignment of the hole in the drain saddle. To fix this, tighten the fittings as necessary, replace any twisted O-rings, and realign the drain saddle.

    • L

Noise from the faucet of your Watts Water Filtration System can be caused by the air gap faucet location, the drain saddle, or a restriction in the drain line. The noise should disappear after the system shuts down. Relocate the drain to above the water trap. Blockage is sometimes caused by debris from garbage disposal or dishwasher.
