Maintenance
To secure the machine parameters a monthly maintenance is required. The maintenance of the machine must be carried out by
technically experienced/authorized personnel. After the functional test, the tire changer must be disconnected from the power
supply (electrical and compressed air).
Check the oil level in the maintenance unit on the maintenance frame. Use specific resin- and acid-free oil for
compressed air tools.
Thorough cleaning of all moving parts of the mounting plate (Fig. 16). Light lubrication ensures proper functioning of the
clamping jaws.
Check all screw and bolt connections of the tensioning mechanism including the cylinder unit and the entire machine.
Clean and lubricate the hexagonal shaft of the mounting head and the horizontally movable arm (Fig. 17). To do this,
remove the plastic cover.
Check the operation of the pneumatically operated clamping plates for latching horizontal and vertical movements.
Adjustment is possible on screws 1-4 (Fig. 18).
Check the V-belt tension of the drive and adjust it if necessary by adjusting screw connections A and B (Fig. 19).
Keep your work area clean and remove any dirt or loose objects in the area.
In case of frequent use it is necessary to lubricate all moving parts on a weekly basis.
Machine parts that are subject to wear and pose a safety risk must be replaced immediately.
Damaged parts must always be replaced with original parts.
