Problem Cause Action

COFFEE DISPENSING IS NOT
CONFORMANT
THE COFFEE DOSE IS NOT MET
THE LED OF THE DOSE BUTTON FLASHES
t The connection of the volumetric dosing device is
faulty.
t The connection of the electronic control unit is faulty.
t The connector of the volumetric dosing device has
humidity on it.
t The volumetric dispenser is faulty: the LED does not
ash during dispensing.
t The coee is ground too nely: there is not sucient
water ow in the dispenser.
t The non-return valve loses pressure (the dose is
too small).
t The expansion valves lose pressure (the dose is too
small).
t Water leakage from the group solenoid valve during
coee dispensing or when in stand-by.
t The volumetric dosing device is partially obstructed.
t Check for proper connection of the volumetric dosing
device connector.
t Check for proper connection of the 8/10-pin connec-
tor of the electronic control unit.
t Remove the connector of the volumetric dosing
device and thoroughly dry the contacts.
t Replace the heads of the volumetric dosing device
or replace the dosing device.
t Adjust the grinding suitably and check the grinders,
if necessary.
t Check and replace the non-return valve, if necessary.
t Check and replace the expansion valves, if necessary.
t Clean and replace the solenoid valve, if necessary.
t Clean or replace the volumetric dosing device.

THE FRONT LED IS FLASHING
t After a few minutes, automatic water lling is stopped.
t The device is in time-out.
t There is no water in the mains.
t The tap for the automatic level device is closed.
t Some of the hoses in the circuit are clogged.
t The probe and/or the mass are disconnected.
t Turn the machine o and then back on.
t Open the water supply tap.
t Open the automatic level device tap.
t Check and replace the defective hoses.
t Check and restore the connections.
NON-UNIFORM MILK DISPENSING FROM
THE CAPPUCCINO MAKER
t Out of milk.
t Milk injector obstructed.
t Cappuccino maker obstructed.
t Suction pipe clogged.
t Silicone tube detached.
t Rell milk.
t Clean the milk injector.
t Clean the cappuccino maker with the brush.
t Clean the milk suction hose.
t Connect the hose correctly.
AIR POCKETS IN THE MILK FOAM FROM
THE CAPPUCCINO MAKER
t Air regulator too open.
t Air aspiration tube disconnected from the cappuc-
cino maker.
t Properly calibrate the air regulator.
t Restore the connection through the hose.
THE PUMP WORKS ONLY WITH THE
MANUAL DISPENSING BUTTON
t The pump fuse of the electronic control unit is
burned out.
t Replace the pump fuse of the electronic control
unit (10A).

coee dispensing or when in stand-by.
t The volumetric dosing device is partially obstructed.
t Check for proper connection of the volumetric dosing
device connector.
t Check for proper connection of the electronic control
unit connector.

and thoroughly dry the contacts.

BUBBLES IN MILK FROTH
t Air regulator too open.
t Air aspiration tube disconnected from the cappuc-
cino maker.
t Excessive temperature in foamed milk.
t Properly calibrate the air regulator.
t Restore the connection through the hose.
t Reduce the temperature of the foamed milk, in-
crease the speed of the milk pump.
If the problem cannot be solved, turn the machine o and contact
the Manufacturer.
