Remove the balancing unit.

Stretch the proper end of tool into the filter element and rotate
the tool clockwise until you hear a clicking sound, indicating that
the tool has been installed in place.

Draw out the filter element (use the slot of special tool and other
tools if necessary).

Clean the outer surface of the filter element chamber threads
with water.
