8 Maintenance
8.5 Replacing the sealing ring
Requirement • The pressure reducer is removed (see “4.2 Removing the
pressure reducer”, page 16).
• Wash your hands thoroughly in advance.
• The small screwdriver must be clean, dry and free from any oil
or grease.
1. Lift the sealing ring gently using the screwdriver.
2. If necessary: Clean the groove with a lint-free, dry or moistened
cloth.
3. If necessary: Remove any residual moisture with the lint-free
cloth.
4. Press the new sealing ring into the groove of the hand-screwed
connection gently and without using any tools.
Result The sealing ring is replaced.
