Measuring your blood pressure and pulse
Putting on the cuff
The cuff is suitable for an arm circumference of 8.6 to 12.6 inches.
Remove any watches, jewellery etc.
The upper arm must be exposed because the cuff must lie directly on the skin.
Do not roll up tight shirt sleeves, as this will squash the arm and could produce an
inaccurate measurement.
Remove this item of clothing if the shirt sleeves cannot easily be rolled up.
Pull the end of the cu through the frame at the other end.
The Velcro fastener must face out.
