The cuff is in the right position on the arm:
− When there is room for one finger between the cuff and the arm,
− When it sits securely and doesn’t slip.
The cuff must not be too tight because the pressure on the arm will increase further
when the cuff is pumped up.
If the shape of the arm does not allow the cuff to be wrapped around it properly, the
cuff can sit at a slight diagonal.
Stick the cu ‘s tube plug into the connection provided on the monitor.
