V-Lead Placement – The brown V-lead
connector can be placed at one of six standard
locations:
• V1 –Right Sternal border, fourth intercostal
space.
• V2 – Left sternal border, fourth intercostal
space.
• V3 –Between V2 and V4, midpoint between
the two, in a line that joins all three.
• V4 – Mid-clavicular line, fifth intercostal
space.
• V5 – Anterior axillary line, fifth intercostal
space.
• V6 – Mid-axillary line fifth intercostal
space.
Note: If you wish to see a cascading ECG
waveform from the upper line to the lower
line on the display, you must set the Second
trace source to ECG in the Advanced
Configuration menu.
