Why won't my Wen 41121 motor start?
    • S
      stephen03Jul 28, 2025
If the Wen Other motor doesn't start, first check the power cord, extension cord, and power outlet to ensure everything is properly plugged in and undamaged. Next, make sure the safety key is inserted into the power switch. Also, the motor might be overloaded, causing the circuit breaker to trip; wait for the motor to cool down, press the reset button, and reduce the material load. Finally, verify that the hopper is closed and the hopper knob is tightened.

What to do if material cannot be fed into my Wen Other shredder?
    • A
      Alexander SextonAug 7, 2025
If material cannot be fed into the Wen Other shredder, the material may be jammed in the feed inlet, the cutting blades may be blocked, or the discharge chute may be blocked. Turn off and unplug the machine, then open the hopper and remove any blocked or jammed materials. If the cutting blades are blocked, open the hopper and blade cover to remove the blockage, then close the blade cover and hopper. If the discharge chute is blocked, open the hopper and the plate of the discharge chute to clear the blocked material, then replace the plate and hopper.

If your Wen Other is inefficient at cutting, it's likely that the cutting blade edges are worn. You can reverse the blades or replace them with new ones.
