PROBLEM
The workpiece splinters
on the underside.
The workpiece is
slipping from your hand.
Motor will not run.
Motor will not start and
fuses or circuit
breakers blow.
Motor fails to reach full
power.
Motor stalls.
PROBABLE CAUSE
1. No backup material under the
workpiece.
1. Not supported or clamped
properly.
1. Defective or broken switch.
2. Defective or damaged power cord.
3. Open circuit, loose connections,
or burned out motor.
4. Blown fuse or circuit breaker.
5. Low voltage.

power cord.

REMEDY
• Always use a backup material. See Position the
table and workpiece in Operation.
• Support workpiece using extension wing or clamps.
