12. Install the backplate and
flywheel as follows:
a. Install dowel pins in
crankshaft end
block.
and engine
b. Position back plate to
engine block
dowel pins
fitting over
and bolt to
block.
c. Position flywheel on crank-
shaft using aligning dowel
pin.
Unit~ kg-m (lb--ft)
flywheel bolt 8.5 ± 0.5
tightening torque (61.5
± 3.6)
13. Reassemble the cylinder head as
follows:
a. Press valve guide (2) into
cylinder head (1) as shown
in illustration on right.
