  If your Western Spreader isn't working, begin by checking the error codes. Also, inspect the plug connections at both the cab control and the spreader. Examine the wire connections at the spreader motor and the vehicle battery, ensuring you check for voltage at the motor leads with the Material Width and Material Flow knobs at maximum after disconnecting the motor leads. Repair or replace any damaged wires and connectors. Finally, check the 100A in-line fuse on the 22" red cable and replace it if needed.
