Why is my Westfield MKX130 auger not turning?

  The auger might not be turning due to several reasons: it could be plugged or obstructed, in which case you should identify and remove the obstruction. Alternatively, a bearing or the gearbox may have seized, requiring you to identify and replace the bearing, or fix/replace the gearbox. A chain could be broken, requiring repair or replacement. Another possibility is that the gearbox coupler bolt or the PTO shear bolt is broken or missing, and you'll need to replace the bolt.

  A low material augering rate in your Westfield Farm Equipment can stem from several issues. The tractor PTO speed might be too slow, so increase the engine rpm. Check for inadequate material flow from the truck or hopper and increase the flow. A restricted flow into the auger hopper due to obstructions on the grating can also cause this; clear any obstructions. Note that unloading rates are for dry grain, so if the material is too wet or heavy, this could be the reason. Lastly, worn flighting can reduce the rate; repair or replace as required.
